<Welcome>

I woke up this morning with tears in my eyes, holding family members close to my heart. It’s been a month of crisis, challenge and change and it has been hard, very hard. As I sat in the dark, waiting for dawn to rise, I felt a gentle wooing. A flurry of words and thoughts came and formed what seems to be both an invitation and a prayer. I thought I would share it here:

Come and be well. <Welcome>

The table is wide and the feast has been laid.

There is more Love here than you will ever know.

Love of a mother towards her new baby.

Love of a child, trusting and dependent on another.

Love of life partners who say “yes” again and again.

Love of friends whose souls are woven together.

Love that embraces, includes, welcomes.

Love that empties and pours and overflows; spilling playfully.

Watch out! You might get splashed!

There is only Abundance here.

More than enough room.

More than enough to eat.

More than enough Love.

It’s an open invitation, come and go as you please.

The candle is lit. You will find your way in the dark.

You won’t be cold or hungry, afraid or alone here.

Let our arms of Love embrace you

Let our hearts of Love warm you.

<Welcome> Come and be well.
